One Hour Can Change Everything

The Shortcut We’re All Looking For

We’re all looking for quicker ways to accomplish our goals. Whether we want to lose fat, gain muscle, or improve performance, we all want results, and we want them quickly.

Unfortunately, there are no shortcuts. These things take time, consistency, and patience. That said, there is one thing you can do that will have an immense impact on your progress toward your goals.

It’s not a supplement, a diet, or a workout program. It’s a one-hour fix that can help improve everything.

The One-Hour Fix

No matter how much sleep you get today, a little extra rest could go a long way.

Adding one hour of sleep to your day can be the one thing you need to support healthier eating habits, reduce hunger, and limit the likelihood that you will crave calorie-dense foods that are higher in fat and sugar.

According to a new study that focused on improving sleep duration, participants who slept one hour more per night — going from approximately 6.5 to 7.5 hours — ended up eating 270 calories less per day.

And the kicker? This occurred without any dietary advice, changes in eating habits, or a shift in metabolism.

Experts believe that the reason is likely linked to GLP-1, the same hormone targeted by some of the new weight loss drugs that have been making headlines lately.

This adds to the growing body of evidence showing that sleep deprivation plays a major role in managing hunger, cravings, and total caloric intake.

One Thing to Try This Week: Get an Extra Hour of Sleep

Getting an extra hour of sleep can seem daunting if you already have a packed schedule. However, making the necessary changes to get to bed an hour earlier can be well worth the EFFORT.

So many of us work hard to curb our cravings and adhere to a specific diet to maintain a healthy weight. What if all we need to do is get an extra hour of sleep? All of a sudden, the dietary changes we’re working so hard for could feel seamless, and we can finally start making real progress toward our goals.

Speaking of building healthy habits, we have our NCFIT Nutrition and Accountability challenge launching in March!

If you are a member of our NCFIT flagship locations in the Bay Area, you’ll soon be able to sign up. Participants will receive direction and accountability from one of our new NCFIT nutrition coaches, including a 1-on-1 meeting before and after the challenge to go over your goals, progress, and next steps.

We’ll measure body fat percentage, weight, and other key biomarkers before and after the challenge in order to track your progress and make sure you see positive changes over 28 days!

This will serve as a jumping-off point for anyone looking to see a complete transformation through 1-on-1 nutrition and accountability coaching once the challenge is over.

Spaces will be limited at launch, so make sure to join the waiting list below to be the first on the list to apply for coaching as soon as it becomes available!
