3 Tips To Simplify Meal Prepping

Hey there, foodies! Are you tired of spending your entire Sunday meal prepping for the week? The problem is, most people either make it too complicated or don’t start with a plan. Don’t worry, I’ve got your back. Here are 3 tips to make meal prepping easier!

Tip #1: Prep 2 proteins & 2 breakfast staples for the week

I know that meal prep can feel overwhelming, but it doesn’t have to be! Picking a couple staples for the week can really minimize the time spent prepping. Here are a few examples that you might choose:

  • Breakfast: Overnight Oats and Egg Muffins

  • Proteins: Crockpot Chicken and Roasted Chickpeas

Tip #2: Prioritize whole foods & omega-3s

Prioritizing whole foods and omega-3s is going to make a huge impact on your nutrition! These foods will keep you fuller for longer, which means you’ll have better control over those midnight cravings. Whole fruits and nuts are a couple of my favorites in this category.

Tip #3: Don’t forget your veggies

If you often find yourself throwing away produce because it goes bad, you definitely want to try this tip. Spend a few minutes after you get home from the store prepping all of your veggies and portioning them out into containers so they can easily be snacked on or added to a recipe.

I hope these tips have made meal prepping more achievable for you and something that you can look forward to. A few Sundays from now, you’ll be a meal-prepping machine!
